If using Spotify has been feeling increasingly wrong to you, you’re not alone.

This video isn’t about missing features or bad recommendations. It’s about the ethical issues baked into Spotify’s model: how music is valued, how artists are paid, and how listeners are increasingly asked to fund practices that don’t align with their values.

In this video, I explain why I quit Spotify and take a closer look at Qobuz as a music streaming alternative. Qobuz isn’t perfect, but it reflects a different set of priorities: one that puts music, artists, and intentional listening ahead of endless, half-hearted consumption.
