Update 1:
अब जिन रेलवे स्टेशनों पर रोज़ाना 25 से कम टिकट बुक हो रहे हैं, वहाँ से Tatkal Ticket Booking Counter बंद किया जाएगा। ऐसे काउंटर अब केवल UTS / General Ticket Booking के लिए रहेंगे।
इसके अलावा, कुछ ऐसे स्टेशन जहाँ लंबे समय से टिकट बुकिंग बहुत कम है, वहाँ से पूरा Ticket Counter ही हटाया जा सकता है और यात्रियों को Online Ticket Booking करनी होगी।

Update 2 (Divyang Update – Today):
रेलवे ने Divyang यात्रियों के साथ यात्रा करने वाले सहयात्री (Attendant) के टिकट को लेकर बड़ा अपडेट दिया है। अब साथ में जाने वाले यात्री का टिकट किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति के नाम पर ट्रांसफर किया जा सकेगा, ताकि टिकट का दुरुपयोग रोका जा सके।

Update 3:
Howrah–Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper Train में Non-Veg खाने का विकल्प हटाए जाने के बाद यह मामला अब राजनीतिक विवाद बन चुका है।

Update 4:

At some stations where bookings have remained very low for a long time, the entire ticket counter may be removed, and passengers will have to rely on online ticket booking.

Update 2 (Divyang Update – Latest):
Indian Railways has announced a new rule for Divyang passengers. The ticket of the accompanying passenger (attendant) can now be transferred to another person’s name, helping prevent misuse of Divyang quota tickets.

Update 3:
The removal of the non-veg food option in the Howrah–Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper Train has turned into a political controversy.
