After living in Pakistan for nearly 40 years, thousands of Afghan refugees are now returning to their homeland.
At the border, emotional scenes were witnessed as families who grew up, worked, and made memories in Pakistan hugged their neighbors and friends for the last time.
Many said, “Pakistan was like home. We will return again.”
This video shows the heartfelt goodbyes, the tears, and the stories of those who spent their entire lives in Pakistan and are now starting a new chapter back in Afghanistan.
