Tariq has been living with osteoarthritis, debilitating leg pain and stiffness since he was 15. Through Curable's writing exercises, he was able to discover that feeling judged, feeling trapped and not feeling heard were the large emotions involved in triggering and perpetuating his pain response. Although he is not entirely cured, he feels like recovery is in sight and is looking forward to being able to dance, rap and perform again, and regain his freedom of movement.
