I have always loved visiting places that have stories etched in history.
One such hidden gem I came across was Santrampur. A serene weekend spent in Shri Joraver Vilas - a 1920’s aesthetic art deco villa - the royal residence of Maharaja and Maharani of Santrampur.
My stay was full of ‘breakfast with a view’, tour of the Rajmahal and Hawa Mahal, hi-tea in the middle of the lake and relaxing in the luxurious environs!
