Taste this basoondi once and you will want to have it again and again
SITAPHAL BASOONDI
Ingredients
4 ripe custard apples (sitaphal/sharifa), seeded and pulp removed
2 litre milk, reduced to 1 litre
½ tin (200 gms) sweet condensed milk
¼ tsp green cardamom powder
Method
1. Heat milk in a wide and shallow non-stick pan, stirring occasionally, till it reduces further.
2. Add condensed milk and mix. Add green cardamom powder and custard apple pulp and mix well.
3. Transfer into individual bowls, sprinkle almonds and pistachios, chill and serve.
