On January 26, 2024 we commemorate the death of Jean Guillou for the 5th time.
We all miss his essence as a musician and as a human being, but his work and his music lives on.
As a tribute to Jean Guillou Zuzana Ferjenčíková improvises in this video on the name of JEAN GUILLOU on the monumental Van den Heuvel organ (1989) at the Church of Saint-Eustache, Paris. This improvisation was filmed and recorded by Christoph Martin Frommen on the 8th of November 2022.
The complete recording of his organ works by Zuzana Ferjenčíková began
in Saint-Eustache in Paris with a 2 SACD set album produced as Volume 1 by AEOLUS.
Volume 2 will be recorded by Zuzana in 2024.
