In this video I’d like to explore with you the secrets of Russian Heavy Bow Technique.
We'll look at how the concept focuses on bow weight rather than pressure, a small but important semantic difference which does affect the sound subtly.
The concept is simple, but the technique itself takes patience and practise.
If you master this technique, and it takes a few tries, your tone and sound will improve dramatically.
