Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is one of Europe’s most iconic aviation hubs, famous for its multiple runway layout, diverse airline mix, and nonstop stream of traffic from every corner of the world. With arrivals and departures constantly rotating across different runways, there’s always something happening — from long-haul heavies touching down to short-haul jets blasting off just moments later.

Some of the best places to experience the action are the dedicated spotting areas around the airport, including popular locations near the Polderbaan, Kaagbaan, and Aalsmeerbaan, where you can comfortably watch everything from widebodies and narrowbodies to cargo aircraft and regional traffic.

This video was filmed across several of these well-known spotting locations, as well as from areas closer to the terminals to capture departures and arrivals from more dynamic and varied angles.

All footage in this video was filmed by me, and I retain full rights to all audio and visual content. The goal is to showcase the incredible variety of aircraft, airlines, and operations that make Amsterdam Schiphol one of Europe’s most important and fascinating airports.
