Di video kali ini kita akan belajar tentang prinsip kerja relay elctromagnetic dengan animasi.
Jadi sebelum mengetahui cara kerja relay electromagnetic terlebih dahulu kita harus mengetahui komponen-komponen yang ada pada relay sehingga kita bisa menggambarkan bagaimana relay itu bekerja ketika coil dialiri tegangan listrik.
Komponen-komponen yang ada pada relay
Coil berupa gulungan/lilitan kawat
Iron Core (Besi) yang terdapat di tengah-tengah coil
Armature
Spring dan
Kontak Poin
Cara Kerja Relay secara teori
----- Ketika coil dialiri tegangan listrik maka Iron Core akan menjadi magnet sehingga menarik Armature dan Armature menempel ke Iron Core, dan terjadi perpindahan Kontak yaitu dari Kontak Poin Normally Close menjadi Open dan Kontak Poin Normally Open menjadi Close'
----- Ketika Coil tidak dialiri tegangan listrik maka Iron Core akan menjadi normal atau magnetnya pada Iron Core akan hilang yang membuat armature ditarik Spring dan Kontak Poinnya kembali ke posisi normal.
