I am always such a fan of opportunities to use an effect or pedal in a non-traditional way. When it comes to the Spaceman Delta II I came for the harmonic trem and Spaceman’s reputation for high hit rates on classic effects, but I am staying for the absolute wonder that is the out of phase, glacially slow moving dual filters that make this unassuming harmonic trem a textural dream. This is the kind of “nail the essentials but give them something new” that keeps a pedal on my board long term.
