Note that this is a recording of the replay saved on Gradius Origins, and not a live gameplay recording.
I've tried numerous times to get a 2-ALL Very Difficult clear of this game on MAME, and aside from the one attempt that fluked 2-8, I just couldn't get it. I made it my goal that at the very least, I wanted a 2-ALL run of this particular version for Origins, and well, I blew past that mark relatively quickly, in large part thanks to the Training Mode that let me practice 2-8. I even made it all the way to 3-8 for the second time ever (I'm not counting the old PSP run that made it there, since that was played with small hitboxes), and might've even had a slim chance at a 3-ALL until Covered Core happened lol. Still incredibly satisfied with this score, now I just have to get good scores in the other three versions as well...
