Hey, I’m Steve from WilmerWoodWorks, and today I’m upgrading the sound game in my shop with the Movo UM6 podcast microphone. This thing is a beast—it’s got USB-C and XLR, on-board controls, and a solid magnetic base that feels way more premium than I expected.

In this video, I unbox the Movo UM6, do a sound test, show how I set it up with my MacBook and DaVinci Resolve, and compare it to my old Snowball mic. I’ll also walk you through how it sounds with and without the pop filter and talk about my plans to use it for tutorials, voiceovers, and a new podcast setup with Nick.
