In one of the roughest years the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge has ever seen, we managed to cross the line in just over 52 days, to win the pairs pure class. Being exposed to the elements, sleep deprived, covered in salt sores and blisters as well as facing storms and massive seas that saw numerous teams rescued, and most capsizing at least once, combined with flying fish wizzing past - and sometimes straight into, our heads at night was just a few of the challenges we faced. For anyone who has ever considering rowing a boat across an ocean, or for those who could never imagine it, this is our story from start line to finish. It's not pretty, but it was one of the most exhilarating, humbling and greatest things we have ever achieved.
