Honda has been promising more hybrids for a while now, and the CR-V Hybrid for 2020 is the first in an onslaught of new hybrid, plug-in hybrid and EV models by 2025. For the 2020 CR-V, Honda surprised everyone by going in a different direction than Toyota and they used a mechanical AWD system rather than an electric motor on the rear axle. The result? A more capable hybrid albeit with slightly lower economy and performance. Is it worth it?
