Shows no compassion, (so) Kamadeva’s arrows are tormenting me

My mind is unbearably pained. What is this sadness by love?
MadirAkshi nyAn cheyyAvo
Oh bewitching eyed one, what shall I do?

LokavAsigalkellAm lobhaniyanAm indu
All people in this world are enchanted by the moon

Shokam enikkyu mAtram sumukhi taranunnadendu
Only I feel sad, pretty faced one, why does it make me (like that)?

EkAnthathil ennodu sAkam cheydu leelakal
