In this demonstration you will learn how to mix and use plaster to capture fine detail from a clay relief that you will make by adding pattern and texture with found objects. You will also learn the basic mold-making techniques of positive and negative form by making a plaster 1-piece mold.

1 quart containers
7-10 pounds of ceramic clay (approximate)
