Join us on a day we wish we hadn't left the house .. it didn't quite go to plan!
We took our little roadtrip into Snowdonia to explore an area we had come across on our days adventure exploring in North Wales .... an old quarry near Arenig fawr, which we thought looked interesting, so as we normally do we geared up for our day of adventure exploring and hiking ... which then took abit of a turn due to the route I tried to take us up .... left me in tears & we had to report it!
We tried to salvage the day as the quarry hike ended up being not easy to get into due to fences and us having our border collie "Cider" with us. We took a 5 minute drive up the road and took a hike up to Arenig Fawr lake, where we explored a little bothy, ate lunch which by this time was getting on for 5 o clock. and just appreciating the welsh landscape whilst the weather started rolling in over the mountains but we were determined to have a day of adventure and exploring the beautiful Snowdonia.
So come for a day hiking with us with a sad start but we managed to have a smile and laugh along the way :)
