Our Cornish Cross meat chickens are already out on pasture, but they’re quickly running out of fresh ground to move to. To keep them clean, healthy, and growing strong, I’m firing up the brush hog and clearing more space today.
Pasture rotation is a big part of why our chickens stay healthier and taste better than anything you’ll find at the store. Moving them regularly gives them constant access to clean grass, bugs, and fresh air—plus it helps avoid buildup of waste and disease. It’s a bit more work, but it’s worth it.
Stick around as we cut new ground, move the chicken tractor, and keep these birds living their best pasture-raised life.
