I set off down to Windang, NSW to the iconic Freestyle Fighting Gym and caught up with Kasib Murdoch ahead of his Hex BW title defence down in Melbourne, Victoria later this month.

We talk about lots of subjects, from his early career, his martial art's journey including his BJJ, wrestling, Boxing and Muay Thai days, we talk WWE, Joe Lopez, studying under the great Alex Volkanovski, thoughts on upcoming fights, Aussies prospects and plenty more.

I can't speak any higher of the young man, and I am eagerly watching both his career inside the cage and his journey as a human being. Lovely bloke with a great story.
