In today's video, I will be testing out testing supernova from @AMACOBrent cosmos series. Overall, this is an extremely runny glaze that produces holographic oil-slick zig-zagging crystal effects over a typically light-colored surface. Behaviorally, I think this glaze would likely work best on flat, platter-like forms where vertical running isn’t going to be as much of a concern. I would also like to note that while this glaze is non-toxic, it doesn’t tend to create a surface that would be suitable for use with food contact surfaces. The rainbow effect is quiet beautiful, but I would urge you to use caution, and do a lot of your own careful testing with this glaze. You don’t want a glaze meltdown to ruin your equipment, or your other work. With careful application and testing, I think this glaze has the potential to really elevate, and help to inspire some beautiful work out there. Thanks for tuning in this week.
