BROADCAST SELECTION: Honey Sykes & Rosemary Gage Sing

A "Honey" Sykes standard and original, sung only as she could, with the Voices of Monument in the background. This is followed by Evangelist Rosemary Gage singing "If You Need A Miracle". What can I say except that these were the days of praise, shouting and deliverance every second during these supercharged services in the 70s & 80s (Aug 1980). I can only declare I KNOW I was blessed and highly favored to be able to boast that I was worthy to have sat and participated (and played an active part) in the ministry of Pastor Richard Daniel Henton, during this 'golden' era of the Monument of Faith Evangelistic Church. The last selection brought forth a brief shout...the Spirit could not be contained!

This is a color-corrected video from 3/9/80, produced by Lee Spearman at the Monument of Faith Evangelistic Church, for the Breakthrough Hour broadcast. This selection preceded the sermon by our founder, Pastor/Evangelist Richard D. Henton.

The color-corrected/audio-reedited videos featured on this YouTube site are from my training tapes used to critique our television production work from 1978 to 1983. They are absolutely NOT for sale from this location, and are for viewing/enjoyment purposes only. Color-correction is a painstakingly tedious process where extremely dark video can be lightened, by transferring it from VHS then digitizing it one-selection-at-a-time. If not for modern technology, these tapes would be unviewable/unshareable.
