This instructional video presented as a two-disc DVD set was produced to illustrate the scraping and aligning process for a typical machine tool. The machine used was a Bridgeport Series One milling machine, and although the information presented was kept as generic as possible, it is applicable to many varieties of machine tools. The host, Mike Stets, will lead you through the rebuilding process chronologically, from an introduction to the machine, a review of tools, disassembly, scraping and aligning of each component in the proper order (column, knee, saddle, table, gibbs), the use of bluing, and final alignment checks.
