Haddock and Cod Fishing on Jeffreys Ledge. Catching our limit Ground and Bottom Fishing in Maine.

Had a decent weather day and headed out 25 miles to Jeffreys ledge of Maine. We caught roughly 100 fish of mixed species with over 3 dozen haddock of good size. The min size is 17" but as always, we tossed back most under 20". For people concerned that these released fish with suffer from barometric trauma we are fishing in 160-180 feet of water using overpowered high-speed reals to get the fish up and down as fast as possible. We rarely have issues with releasing them and if a fish is struggling to get down, I vent them with a tool. The whales we saw in the intro where hump backs, the small sharks are spiny dog fish, we also caught some pollack, mackerel and sea perch (known as cunner in other places).
