A Poem Written for Congo: Mabele “The Roots”

Hey fam!
A couple of months ago I teamed up with two other young Congolese people to work on a poem about a place that is very close to our hearts…Congo. Congo is a place of immense beauty and wealth but it is also a troubled place. It has been so for years. Through this poem, we hope to convey our feelings as young Congolese people watching everything that is unfolding on our very dear country. We also know, however, that there is still hope for our country and it will find its glory in the future. I invite you to watch /listen to this, it is not a very exciting video but it is worth listening to.
