This story starts from the point where it has already been 5 years of Kanti’s marriage and her Gauna (the ceremony of sending daughter to her In-Laws house after marriage) is still not done due to dowry issues. Kanti’s growing age is making the situation more complex as other girls of her age in the village are happily married and staying with their in-laws. The only solution to this problem is to call Kanti’s husband to stay with her and convince him to take Kanti along with him. The whole story takes a twist turn when the most awaited son-in-law comes and stays with Kanti’s family.
