How to Plant Onions for MASSIVE Bulbs Garden Vlog

Hi everyone! I am so excited to finally be planting onions this week after caring for them for 12 weeks! It's finally time to get these little guys in the ground.

This is a complete garden vlog covering my process for how to plant onions, from the final "haircut" to prepping the soil with compost and high-nitrogen fertilizer. I am in Southern California, which means I need to plant short-day varieties. I'll explain why day length matters for growing onions!

Before planting the onions, I also take a quick harvest of green tomatoes for salsa verde and some beautiful Scarlet Runner beans.
