Today I went for a local $2 shave in Pakistan, and it turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences of my trip. At a small roadside barbershop, I sat down for a traditional Pakistani shave – straight razor, hot lather, and a full head massage – all for less than the price of a coffee back home.
But what made this day truly special wasn’t just the shave. A stranger paid for my haircut, bought me a cup of chai (tea), and even gave me a fresh naan bread. The warmth, kindness, and hospitality I experienced here is something I’ll never forget.
Pakistan is often called one of the world’s most hospitable countries, and this vlog shows exactly why. From the barbershop culture to the generosity of strangers, it’s a side of Pakistan many people outside the country never see.
