The new Sanguinary Guard kit looks fantastic—but there’s just one problem… No winged jetpacks! In this video, I’m fixing that by upgrading my models with 3D-printed parts from Grey Tide Studios, including new weapons (three swords, three spears) and those missing wings!
I also walk you through my painting process, from gold armor with an oil wash to rich red details and finally choosing between black or white wings. If you’re a Blood Angels fan or looking for pro painting tips, this is the guide for you!
🎨 Painting Process:
✔ Primer: Vallejo Black Primer
✔ Armor Base Coat: Army Painter Speedpaint Metallic Glittering Loot
✔ Armor Wash: Winsor & Newton Oil Colour Magenta
✔ Black & Silver Areas: Army Painter Speedpaint Metallics Broadsword Silver
✔ Red Details: Vallejo Model Color Dark Red → Game Color Bloody Red → Final Highlight (50/50 Bloody Red & Moon Yellow)
✔ Wings: Base Wolf Grey → Black Lotus Wash → Wolf Grey Repaint → Highlight (50/50 Wolf Grey & Titanium White)
✔ Base: AK Liquid Pigment Battle Ashes
⚔️ What do you think about the new Sanguinary Guard kit? Should Games Workshop have included the wings? Let me know in the comments!
