This webinar will overview the current metrics in Green Chemistry used for quantifying waste in pharmaceutical drug manufacturing, identify gaps and challenges. The metric iGAL 2.0 will be presented as a valuable extension to common API process waste metrics, and a way to quantify the innovation improvements made by scientists towards a more environmentally friendly process. The improved model will highlight yield and convergence as new key sustainability indicators. An example case study using iGAL 2.0 will be presented for user awareness of the tool or a live demonstration of the website tool.
