Step-By-Step Watercolour Landscape Demonstration | Loose Style | Colour Harmony | Wet-on-Wet

*AN UPDATE** - Unfortunately, I encountered technical difficulties while editing and uploading the video, and it didn't upload in full. The video is missing the part where I am laying down the final wash of paint, deepening the colours all over the scene - an extra layer of Carbazole Violet for the sky, a glaze of Indigo and Quinacridone Sienna to add definition to the distant hills, and more of Perylene Green and Aussie Red Gold for the tree to darken the tonal values and increase the contrast. Sadly, my backup file is corrupted as well so I do not have an opportunity to upload it in full. I will not take it down for now as there are some tips and tricks I am sharing in this video that are still valuable even if the scene itself is not painted in full here. In this video, I demonstrate the step-by-step process for this colourful watercolour landscape painted in a loose and expressive style. I am combining the wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques to create atmospheric depth in the scene.
