넷플릭스 드라마 '폭싹 속았수다'를 보고 난 뒤, 오래도록 마음에 남는 장면들이 있었습니다. 대사 하나 하나, 장면 하나 하나가 유난히 깊게 다가왔고, 인물들이 지나온 순간들과 그 너머의 여운을 음악으로 담아보고 싶다는 생각이 들었습니다.

그래서 저만의 OST를 만들게 되었습니다.
드라마는 끝났지만 아름다웠던 장면을 오래 간직하고 싶은 마음으로.. ☕🎶

After watching the Netflix drama "When life gives you tangerines",
there were scenes that stayed with me for a long time.
Every line, every moment felt unusually deep,
and I found myself wanting to capture the characters’ journeys and the lingering emotions beyond them through music.

That’s how I came to create my own OST.
Though the drama has ended,
I wanted to hold onto those beautiful moments just a little longer.

[작사 비하인드]

1. 첫 번째 곡 '봄이 먼저 온다'는
기어이 밀어내도 반드시 다가오는 첫사랑처럼,
자연스럽고도 은근슬쩍 찾아오는 봄의 감정을 그렸습니다.
아직 추운 겨울인가 싶다가 마음이 준비되지 않았는데도
봄은 어느 날 불쑥 우리를 흔들죠.
그 설렘, 그 두근거림을 담고 싶었습니다.

2. '노오란 봄에'
"다시 못 볼 열여덟 첫사랑을 오래오래 눈에 담고서 그 노란봄에 열여덟 순정을 묻었다. 그렇게도 꺽꺽" 이라는 대사를 한 참 동안 꼽씹었습니다.
그 노오란 봄날,
혼자 꺽꺽 울던 어린 애순의 마음을 꾹꾹 눌러 담고,
서러움과 그 모든 추억을 노란 유채꽃 사이에 감추었던 그 봄 말이죠.

3. '숨비소리'는
목숨을 걸고 물질하는 점례의 이야기를 담았습니다.
햇살조차 닿지 않는 깊은 바다 아래로
어둠 속을 헤엄치는 그녀는 고된 하루를 누구보다 뜨겁게 살아냅니다.
이 곡은 애순의 시에서 받은 영감을 바탕으로
두려움 속에서도 빛을 품고 올라오는 어멍의 삶을 노래합니다.

4. '그 여름'은
영범과 금명의 이별에서 비롯된,
그리워도 다시는 닿을 수 없는 마음을 노래한 곡입니다.
모든 것이 다 익기엔 조금 모자랐던 계절
그들의 마지막을 머뭇거리며 붙잡고 있었습니다.
귓가에 맴돌던 설익은 말들,
이제야 늦게 배운 문장처럼
숨 쉴 때마다 떠오릅니다.

5. '너 하나만'은
영범에게는 결국 금명이 하나뿐이었을거라는 마음에서 출발한 곡입니다.
그 이름만으로 살아낼 수 있었던 시간,
평생을 그리워할 수밖에 없는 마음을 아릿하게 담았습니다.

6. '너도 있으면 좋겠다'는
세월이 흐른 뒤, 평범한 어느 여름날 문득 지나가는 바람결에
영범은 금명을 떠올릴지 모른다는 상상에서 출발한 곡입니다.
특별할 것 없는 하루에도 불러보고 싶은 이름,
함께 있으면 좋겠다는 헛헛한 바람이 담겨 있습니다.

7. '너로 시작해'는
금명과 충섭의 사랑이 시작되는 순간,
어른들의 연애가 지닌 조심스러우면서도 설레는 감정을 담았습니다.
익숙한 얼굴이 어느 날 문득 다르게 느껴지고,
작은 스침에도 마음이 흔들릴 때
운명처럼 다가온 인연이 시작되는 두근거림을 그렸습니다.

8. '제주의 밤'은
애순과 관식이, 금명과 충섭이 가장 행복했던 순간,
서로의 눈에 깊이 빠져 환희를 느꼈을 날을 상상하며 만든 곡입니다.
함께 있다는 것 만으로 충분했던 세상을
제주의 밤 풍경에 실었습니다.

[Behind the Lyrics]

1. The first song, Spring Comes First,
captures the gentle yet unstoppable feeling of spring much like a first love that sneaks up on you softly, inevitably.
Just when you think winter might linger, spring surprises you,
shaking your heart awake before you're ready.
I wanted to convey that fluttering, heart-racing sensation.

2. Yellow Spring
For a long time, I reflected on these words:
"I buried the innocence of my eighteen-year-old heart in that yellow spring,
holding onto the first love I'd never see again, weeping alone."
In that radiant spring,
I imagined young Ae-soon quietly pressing down her sorrow,
hiding tears and memories among the yellow canola flowers.

3. Sumbisori (Breath of the Sea)
This song tells the story of Jum-nyeo, a haenyeo diver risking her life beneath the waves.
She dives into the darkness, to depths untouched by sunlight,
living each exhausting day more fiercely than anyone else.
Inspired by Ae-soon's poetry, this song sings of a mother's resilience,
rising toward the surface despite the fear, carrying light within.

4. That Summer
This song was inspired by Young-beom and Geum-myeong’s parting expressing the longing for a love forever out of reach.
A season cut short before everything had ripened,
holding onto their ending hesitantly, unable to let go.
The unspoken words lingered, raw and unfinished,
returning like newly learned sentences, breathing with every memory.

5. Only You
This track sprang from the belief that for Young-beom, there could only ever be Geum-myeong.
A time when just her name alone was enough to keep him going it poignantly captures a longing destined to last a lifetime.

6. Wish You Were Here
Inspired by imagining Young-beom, many years later,
suddenly remembering Geum-myeong on an ordinary summer day, stirred by a passing breeze.
Even on the most mundane days, he calls out her name,
filled with a hollow wish for her presence.

7. Starts with You
This song captures the cautious yet exhilarating feeling when Geum-myeong and Chung-seop's love begins that careful dance adults do when love blooms unexpectedly.
A familiar face suddenly feels new,
and the slightest touch sends ripples through the heart—
the thrill of destiny softly arriving.

8. Jeju Nights
I wrote this imagining Ae-soon and Gwan-sik, Geum-myeong and Chung-seop
at their happiest moments,
deeply immersed in each other's eyes, feeling pure joy.
The simple joy of just being together was enough—
and I painted that perfect world into the peaceful nightscape of Jeju.
