Passé Noir - True Neutral |
Here we tackle the allegory beneath both Blade Runner films, and how it recontextualizes the struggle of African Americans and their relationship to the police in the US--making it BLM long before the dawn of the Black Lives Matter movement. In order to do so, we must confront some of the harsher actions of the Atlantic Slave Trade, and reexamine them under different, perhaps uncomfortable lenses.
True Neutral is a video essay series at the intersection of literary critique, pop culture review, Jungian alchemy, and anthropological infotainment. It is not intentionally contrarian or "edgy", but does seek to promote valid, underrepresented perspectives that bridge gaps between political and social divides, and to force the world to look at its Shadow...so maybe it will stop acting so weird and insecure.
