The restorer and caretaker of the organ for the last 50 years talks about the history of the organ at the Park, its modifications, restoration and maintenance. A rear view of the organ’s mechanism is described and shown in operation.
Our Carousel 100th Anniversary lecture series was produced in collaboration with Montgomery History. Each lecture lasts from 30-40 minutes, with a Q&A session at the end. This is the third of four lectures produced in the centennial year, and was originally broadcast on July 14, 2021.
