Thank you so much for being here with us. For this delicious traditional bread, I’ll share the full recipe below.

This video includes the whole process of baking our local bread, milking the goats, and a little glimpse of our rabbits, chickens, and the beautiful nature around my father’s home.

Bread Recipe:
• 2 kg flour
• 2 tablespoons salt
• A handful of sugar
• 2 tablespoons yeast
• 1 small cup of milk powder
• A bit of crushed coriander seeds for extra flavor

Mix everything with warm water until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
At the final step, add one small cup of oil and knead again for a few minutes.
Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes.

We didn’t have a big bowl, so we had to prepare it in this small container you’ll see in the video — but it actually made everything even more fun!

Then comes the shaping, resting again, flattening, and one more short rest.
Finally, we bake it on our traditional village oven.

After baking, we place the bread in a big bread tray, spread a bit of oil on top, and add Mahyaweh, a homemade fish sauce from our village.
We eat it with date syrup or just plain — and it’s so delicious and amazing!
