Q and A with Guest Marcy Guevara

Q: What did you do to prepare for the video?
A: Scripting is critical. And for this video it was incredibly important for me to get all of the important points! I love going off the cuff, but sometimes you have to plan ahead. .


Q: Where did you shoot the video?
A: We went on location at an adorable dress boutique in L.A. called Unique Vintage packed with trendy frocks!


Q: What was the biggest challenge in making the video?
A: Being in a store packed with customers created a live audience. Sometimes it was hard to focus with everyone asking who we were and what we were shooting. But Kelsey and I are pros and we stayed focused on the video.


Q: Anything odd, funny or interesting happen during the shoot?
A: A bride and groom arrived with their bridesmaids and we took a break helping them find the perfect dresses for the wedding.

Q:What would you never leave home without when you shoot a video?
A: Cough drops, double-stick tape, good music, super selection of shoes and accessories. Being on set is hard work, so high-energy snacks are essential. So are straws - otherwise the model's lipstick gets ruined. .


Q: Who supplied your wardrobe?
A: Sydney's Closet of course! I felt glam in SC's Black Diamond dress. Absolutely, a PERFECT "Little Black Dress". I'm already planning to wear it again - very soon!

Q: Loved your lipstick, what's color?
A: I wish I could tell you. It's custom blend created by my makeup artist , Caren Elle.

Q: Who was the incredibly talented cameraman?
A: Ed Wu. We met on Marie Claire's "Big Girl in a Skinny World" and he is a total pro!

Q: Was this your first time as a guest host for Sydney's Closet?
A: Yes and I loved it! And you can look forward to seeing me again. Sydney's Closet President & Founder Phyllis Brasch Librach already has plans for me to star in another video. Keep watching!
