In this video I'm taking a dead-end lane - not by accident, but on purpose. The reward isn't the struggle of the lane, but the commanding views that are afforded to the rider at the end point - sadly, you can no longer use this as a through-route.
Then, back-tracking, I pick up some quieter lanes and work my way to Whorlton Castle, a long forgotten ancient dwelling, that sits atop a small hill.
