Bee Inspired Collage Bright Colors, Bold Choices | Stepping Outside My Comfort Zone

This quote sparked the inspiration for today’s collage—a piece filled with pressed flowers, bright colors, and buzzing bumblebees.

This project took me outside of my creative comfort zone. The colors are much bolder than I typically use, and the overall vibe is lighter and brighter than my usual palette. But that’s part of the process—trying new things, pushing boundaries, and letting the unexpected take root.

Using a Gelli plate, some handmade collage papers, and a few doodled details, I slowly built this layered garden scene. It may not be my favorite piece, but it's an important one—because it represents growth.
