Need to make a nice walkway or patio area then this is what you need, Brock makes a thick base that goes over an area with just a little sand instead of using crushed rock and sand that will be messy..this lays over the area and can make up for small imperfections on the ground..once set down you can add a polymer sand into the grooves to solidify it..and the sides they make a rail that nails into the ground to keep the sides from moving, then just fill it with dirt,grass or rock to make the smooth transition..
