Are you struggling to switch between the G and C chords quickly and smoothly? This Beginner Play Along is designed to help you master fast, clean chord transitions with ease.
In this practice session, you'll follow a progressive metronome starting at 40 BPM and gradually increasing to 250 BPM, using whole notes to build accuracy and control. You’ll get close-up views of both my right and left hands, making it easy to see finger placement, technique, and transitions in detail.
✅ How to Use This Video:
Play along and switch between G and C chords with each bar.
You can use easy G and easy C chords or modified chord shapes to practice this exercise if you’re just starting out.
You can also do this exercise without strumming, focusing entirely on finger placement and smooth transitions.
When the speed becomes unmanageable, pause, track your top speed, and note your progress.
Repeat the exercise regularly to see consistent improvement.
Pro Tip: The more you practice, the smoother and faster your transitions will become. Track your progress, repeat the exercise, and you’ll achieve your goals!
