It is a beautiful, calming experience to enjoy a Gondola ride in Venice's many canals. We highly recommend you take the Gondola ride during Sunset to enjoy the crimson shade of the sky beautifully reflecting in the water.
The ride costs about 80 or 100 euros depending on the time you take the ride. For a more pocket friendly experience, you can also opt for a shared Gondola ride. Most Gondola ride routes are through the smaller canals in the city, however to take a Gondola ride in the Grand Canal the best place to start the ride is in front of St. Mark's square around Castello, Rio Dei Greci areas.
