"The Local" - Sugar Express Sugar Festival Special 2025 - U.S. Sugar Steam Locomotive 148

In-accordance with the annual Sugar Festival in Clewiston, Florida, the second Saturday of March 2025 would see the folks at U.S. Sugar bring out their restored 4-6-2 "Pacific" Type Steam Locomotive #148 as it hauled a pair of roundtrip passenger excursions for Festival Goers. Both trips, which ran over the rails of Sugar's Class lll Regional Shortline Carrier known as the "South Central Florida Express", lasted for roughly an hour as the 1920 built Steamer took patrons into the vast Sugar Cane Fields that make up the scenery of Eastern Hendry County. The following are the various clips and pictures I managed to document of both runs as I followed it in and out of America's so-called "Sweetest Town". Also featured are several Sugar Cane Freight Moves that happened to show up while I roaming about following the Passenger Special
