Hemlock Falls is a beautiful 45-foot waterfall tucked away in Oregon’s Umpqua National Forest. This short trail takes you through lush forest filled with moss, ferns, and wildflowers before ending at a serene waterfall crashing into a mossy canyon.
In this video, we’ll hike the 1-mile round trip trail starting at Lake in the Woods, pass through beautiful spring scenery, and explore several different viewpoints around the falls. I’ll also show you a fun detour to a fallen tree across the creek that gives you a unique view of this peaceful place.
This is one of the most scenic short hikes in the area and a great stop if you're exploring southern Oregon!
