8 PDRN Serums, Real First Impressions & Honest Reactions

Trying PDRN skincare for the first time. I tested several PDRN serums from Korean skincare brands to see which ones actually feel good on the skin, which are overhyped, and which I’d genuinely repurchase.

PDRN (often called salmon DNA or plant-derived PDRN) is everywhere right now, in serums, ampoules, jelly textures, milky formulas, pore care and peptide blends. Instead of chasing the trend blindly, I spent time actually trying 9 different PDRN serums to understand how they feel, how they layer, and whether they’re something I’d realistically reach for in my own routine.

This is not a before-and-after video and not a medical deep dive. It’s a first-impressions, texture-focused, real-routine test from a skincare maximalist who loves experimenting but also values consistency and enjoyment.

💡 My Skin Type
Dehydrated, acne-prone
Slowly transitioning from combination to more normal/dry
Main concerns: hormonal breakouts, PIE (post-inflammatory erythema), some acne scarring, fine lines & wrinkles
Sensitive to fragrance/essential oils (allergic to limonene on my neck)
