Due to the Covid19 situation and the travel restrictions the video series is very Norwegian centric this year - never the less hopefully you enjoy the architectural recordings. Norway is interesting as it establishes a broader architectural understanding - not at least with opening up to the international architectural discourse.

Denmark based Architects of BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) finished their building "The Twist" for the Kistefos Museum in 2019 and is since a very well visited architectural site. Situated about 1 hour driving to the north of Oslo it is easy accesible and does therefore not only attract Oslo based art lovers but also tourists and city hoppers. The museum is defined as a hybrid trinity construction - as bridge, as museum and as a sculpture itself. The Twist is embodied into an aggregation of several buildings (former industrial buildings) and a circular path which connects them all together. The Kistefos Museum is a sculpture park in which architecture itself is contained within their exhibition pieces.

Architektur.eck is an on going video project to establisch a catalogue for architectural projects, compositions and crossovers. The long term goal is to provide a platform which exceeds drawings, renderings and photographs for not only architects but also interested individuals.
The videography does not intend to take a counterpart but as an informative and relevant supplement to emphasize the spatial experience.
Also it is not supposed to serve pure documentary style but also as an "artistic" approach to transfer the sense the building within its surrounding emits to its audience.
The approach is to update and expand the catalogue on a constant basis that the it will grow to a relevant size over time.
Beside the youtube channel exists a facebook page and an instagram account to keep you updated about new videos and also to provide a catalogue of photographs of the documented interventions.
