DynamoDB has exploded in popularity over recent years. Developers choose DynamoDB for its predictable performance and hands-off operational model.

In this talk, we'll look at why DynamoDB fits so well in an EDA world. We'll explore common patterns and review features like DynamoDB Streams, idempotent writes, and the on-demand billing model that make it easier to build event-driven applications.

You'll see that DynamoDB is a great fit from both the publisher and subscriber side in event-driven applications. Plus, you'll even learn why Alex was a reluctant convert to event-driven applications and where he thinks EDA fits in a modern application. [...]
