In 2019, ISP held a press conference seeking help identifying a vehicle in connection with the unsolved Delphi murders case.
During that press conference, Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter addressed the killer directly, saying he believed the killer was "hiding in plain sight" among the Delphi community. They also released additional portions of the audio recording from that day, of the person on the bridge with Abby Williams and Liberty German.
