Nuwakot Durbar Square, also known as the Saat Talle Durbar (Seven‑Storied Palace), is an historic palace complex built in the 18th century by King Prithvi Narayan Shah. Located on a hilltop, it features a seven-story fortress, traditional Newari architecture, and several ancient temples. It played a key role during the unification of Nepal and offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.
