Modifying the Squier VM Mustang | Part 1: Overview & Demo

Welcome to Part 1 of my series on modifying a squire VM mustang for grunge!

In this video I will provide a brief overview of the guitar with my plans for modification and will also demo the guitar stock.

Lightweight offset-waist basswood body and short scale length give you enhanced playability
Comfortable Vintage Modified C-profile maple neck with 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard
22 medium-jumbo frets, 24" scale length; 1.65" nut width
Chrome hardware; white-tipped tuning machines
Floating bridge with dynamic vibrato tail-piece
2 Duncan Designed Single Coil Pickups
2 on-off-on switches to control pickups and phasing
