Montessori Language: 3PL using Sandpaper letters

Sandpaper Letters is one of the most popular materials in Montessori. It is an excellent material designed by Dr. Maria Montessori to introduce alphabet writing and sounds to sound.

The three-period lesson (3PL) is a Montessori method that can help you clearly and easily teach concepts to young children.

Through tracing, a child is also getting their hand ready for handwriting. They’ll use the same movements, only on a smaller scale and to write the letters.
